How to register
By registering on the Neighbourhood Alert website for Nottingham City, you will receive updates from Nottinghamshire Police and Neighbourhood Watch and can use the site to report information about crime, suspicious behaviour and antisocial behaviour you see or hear in your area.
Registration is restricted to people who live and/or work in Nottingham city centre. On completion of your registration, which requires you to verify your email address (check your inbox for an email after submitting), you will have limited access for 14 days.
If you do not receive a confirmation email for your 14 day limited access, please check you have filled in your email address correctly on the registration page by logging in with the Username and Password you chose.
After you have registered, a letter giving you a unique verification code will be posted to the address you registered or hand delivered by a Police Beat Manager, a Police Community Support Officer or an authorised member of Neighbourhood Watch in your area. if you prefer to receive the registration letter by post only, please email email@example.com
as soon as you have registered, with your name and "Activation code by post" in the subject line. The letter you will receive will contain a code, which will verify your registration and allow you full access to the site.
Thank you for your interest in Neighbourhood Alert and we hope you enjoy using the site. If you know somebody who you think would like to be part of this community messaging system, but they do not have internet access, please still ask them to join. Printed registration forms are available from your nearest police station - just pop in and ask for a Neighbourhood Alert registration form.
